BPW&C Reception Transformation

View Before & After Slideshow

This reception room was dark and uninviting. For better office flow and a far more welcoming point of arrival, the space was expanded, walls removed, and new colors changed the complexion entirely. The dead blue accent color was replaced with a hue that the firm had already adopted for their exterior entry wall behind their logo. The turquoise color was the perfect refresher for the existing navy blue theme. Where burgundy had previously been the complimentary color to the navy – it was cloying, the turquoise was analogous and new! Grey/white walls were cold and rigid – now a softer yellow tone is pleasing and contrasts well against the turquoise accents. Our clever coffee circle, pendant by Poulson, and adjoining custom casework are finished to perfection creating an interesting focal area and gathering place. The existing reception desk was re-skinned and lengthened with wood solids and veneers and inset panels of pewter grey. Custom art pieces Abstraccion Encanto series by Federico Leon de la Vega pop the color and bring a bold interpretation of the New Mexico landscape to the interior.
