First Command – Albuquerque Office
First Command had an office in Albuquerque that they had outgrown and took this opportunity to locate a new space to expand their staff and update their corporate image. With specific guidelines from Corporate, we created new signage to reinforce the brand in the new space, we created a dynamic reception area to set the stage for the confidence instilling and updated image they wanted to convey.
Working with the building leasing agent, we developed a plan within budget that included the modification and expansion of an employee breakroom, designed a curved wall in the reception room to encircle the seating area, reorganized and added lighting, selected new carpeting for the corridors and offices, and hard-surface floorings for the reception room area and breakroom.
New “artwork” for the walls was inspired by the close connection with the community of the Kirtland, AFB. Because First Command specializes in military financial planning, their advisors understand their unique financial needs, and logistical challenges of military families they recognize the value of making a space to welcome their clients into an environment that helps them feel comfortable as they seek advice to navigate their many life chapters.
