FRAGMENTS

“Fragments”, designed and installed by PATRICIAN DESIGN for the Gas Company of New Mexico, is a mixed media series of geometric units fabricated from glass and wood. Patti designed this piece as an abstraction of the subterranean bedrock found in the extraction of natural gas. Enrique Jimenez painstakingly crafted the wood segments and back-painted the glass per her specifications, created a master template and installed the sections and their individual segments -perfectly placed – along the wall of the Sandia Boardroom.

SANDIA PENTAPTYCH

Sandia Pentaptych celebrates our Sandia mountain after which the boardroom was named. The majestic mountain was photographed by Patti capturing the brilliant yellow chamisa blooming in the foothills. The image was reproduced on 5 aluminum panels set off the wall and runs parallel to “Fragments” on the opposing wall of the Sandia Boardroom.
