High Desert of Sangre de Cristos
This fascinatingly lovely couple relocating from Virginia’s lush rolling suburbs of Washington, DC with their taste decidedly rooted in Colonial traditional design motifs, melded well with the traditions of their new stunning New Mexico landscape ad architecture. Traveling to the Dallas Market, we selected every piece of furniture, light fixture, fabric and decorative accessory for this Parade of Homes award-winning custom home.
At the beginning of this project it was a second home, so absolutely everything had to be newly acquired for this Santa Fe residence. The challenging great room required a magnificent rug – the base of the entire scheme. The couple’s love of pink was woven throughout the home from the soft plaster walls to fabrics, furnishings and fine New Mexico artwork in every room including the expansive exterior patio living areas. Punctuations of New Mexico turquoises found its way through the colors scheme. Think trendy here, this timeless theme continues to bring joy to all with whom they share their beautiful residence.
